Make Family Meals a Priority
Children and adolescents depend on regular meals to know that grownups will take care of them and that they will be fed. Meals have to be your idea—not just offered when your child asks for something to eat. If you regularly present meals with a variety of food in a pleasant and matter-of-fact way, your child will grow up to like a variety of food and to be comfortable eating the food that is in the world.. Meals are essential for helping your child or adolescent to eat the right amount to get the body that is right for him or her—not too fat, not too thin, but just right!
